About One Less Wound
The title “One Less Wound” comes from a conversation my wife and I were having a few years back about sin and the pain that God receives from it. One of us (probably her!) said the phrase “one less wound” and I filed it away for quite some time to study it out more in depth at a later date.
After some time, I was doing a study unrelated to it and came across Proverbs 27:6, which states “Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.” Immediately a slew of questions popped into my head: “Does God give us faithful wounds? How does He do this?” A series of questions and answers from the Scriptures led to the foundation of the sermon titled “One Less Wound” and this website. Through that study, I have come to understand more the depth of love God has for us and how we as Christians can help God to experience “One Less Wound.”

About Me
My name is Reidland Brédy and I work as a physical therapist. Now, in case you missed that, that is something I do. My real job is teaching Biblical principles in a practical way that makes it relevant to every individual and to bring those principles into our daily lives. Over the past 10 years, I have had the privilege of teaching Bible study classes as well as develop prophecy studies and personal spiritual growth classes for people of all ages.
Most recently, I have been studying to bring out more clearly the distinctive messages of the Adventist church in a Christ-centered manner that goes beyond a checklist and into a living experience that will transform lives. As Paul wrote, I am determined “not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified” which he identifies as “the power of God” (1 Corinthians 2:2, 1:23-24). With that in mind, I want to share this with you and your congregation that we may truly experience the transformative power of Jesus Christ together.
Currently, I live in Gainesville, Florida with my wife, Sherry-Lynne. We have been married 11 years now and she is truly a help-meet for me. We look forward to meeting you in the near future!
